Il Brisbane Barracudas Waterpolo Team sarà la prima squadra, rappresentante del continente oceanico, a partecipare allo Yellow Ball Waterpolo International Event, in programma dal 28 Giugno al 4 Luglio 2020 presso il Futura Club Itaca-Nausicaa di Corigliano-Rossano (CS).

I Barracudas parteciperanno al torneo Under 15 Femminile guidate da coach Emma Hill; attualmente le australiane occupano il terzo posto della classifica regionale - nello stato di appartenenza del Queensland - e con ogni probabilità disputeranno a Gennaio la fase finale dell'AYWC, il campionato nazionale, provando a migliorare l'ottavo posto globale.

"Le ragazze sono davvero emozionate - spiega Joanne Farrell - Per loro sarà eccitante poter visitare l'Italia e disputare un torneo così bello come lo Yellow Ball nella splendida regione della Calabria. Il nostro è un gruppo principalmente formato da giocatrici classe 2005 con qualche ragazza classe 2006 e 2007. Non vediamo l'ora di cominciare".

Il Barracudas approderà in Italia una settimana prima dell'inizio dell'evento e sosterà nella città di napoli per sottoporsi ad una serie di test match con le formazioni giovanili partenopee.

Brisbane Barracudas Waterpolo Team will be the first team, representative of the oceanic continent, to participate at the Yellow Ball Waterpolo International Event, scheduled from June 28th to July 4th 2020 at the Futura Club Itaca-Nausicaa of Corigliano-Rossano (Calabria). The Barracudas of coach Emma Hill will participate in the Under 15 Women's tournament.

Currently the Australian occupy the third place in the ranking - in the state of Queensland - and probably they will play in January the final round of the AYWC, the national championship, trying to improve the eighth place.

"The girls are really excited - explains Joanne Farrell - It will be exciting for them to be able to visit Italy and play in a tournament as beautiful like the Yellow Ball in the Calabria region.

Our group is mainly made up of 2005 class players with some girls born in 2006 and 2007. We can't wait to start ".

Brisbane Barracudas will arrive in Italy a week before the start of the event and will stop in the city of Naples to play some test matches with the Neapolitan youth teams.
